The Challenge:

Seminole County officials sought a commercial window tint company to handle the removal of damaged existing film and installation of new solar window film across all five public libraries, including the Central Library in Casselberry and all 4 satellite Libraries in Sanford, Lake Mary, Longwood and Oviedo. The work needed to be carried out during normal business hours, requiring extra caution and safety measures to ensure minimal disruption to residents using the facilities. Library officials wanted the new solar film to be non-reflective and not shiny while still providing high heat rejection and glare control.

The Solution:

TintXperts was the commercial window tint company chosen by Seminole County to complete this project. TintXperts efficiently coordinated and completed the removal and installation of new solar film across all five public libraries with minimal disruption to library operations. Dark Neutral 15 (XPEL) was the sun control film chosen due to its matte and non-reflective properties. This solar window film reduces sun glare by 86% and solar heat by 70%. Our team carefully moved several bookcases, tables, and other types of furniture to access the windows, ensuring no damage to the library property. The project was managed by working on one building at a time, and the entire project was successfully completed within two weeks.
